Biographical Sketch: Dr. Daniel Chamié is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of Intravascular Imaging at Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. For over a decade, he practiced Interventional Cardiology, focusing on complex PCI and intravascular imaging and physiology at Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Alongside his clinical activities, Dr. Chamié directed the Optical Coherence Tomography at the Cardiovascular Research Center (CRC) in Sao Paulo, where he developed methodologies and conducted and oversaw analysis for research works on various clinical and anatomical scenarios. Under his leadership, the OCT Core Laboratory at CRC pioneered analyzes for multiple bioresorbable scaffold platforms in studies conducted worldwide. In 2022, Dr. Chamié joined Yale University, where he established the intravascular and physiology core laboratories and has coordinated the intravascular imaging program at the Yale New Haven Hospital Catheterization Laboratory. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts and contributed 20 book chapters.
