Biographical Sketch: Board certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and heart failure/transplant
cardiology, Dr. Snyder is president of HeartPlace, the largest independent cardiology practice in Texas, with 60 physicians, serving 24 offices in 10 counties.
Dr Snyder is a graduate of UT Southwestern in Dallas where he also completed his residency and fellowship training.
A former president of the medical staff at Medical City Dallas, he has also served on the board of
governors for the American College of Cardiology in D.C., as well as president of the Texas chapter. He currently serves as chairman
of the board of directors for ASPEN Specialty Physician Independent Network, as well as president
of the Texas Medical Association, representing its 58,000 members. Additionally he currently serves on the board of NorthPark Cardiac ASC, the Texas All-Payors Claims Database Advisory Board, Novitas Contractor Advisory Committee, and as Co-Chair of SCAI PAC.
