Biographical Sketch: Dr. Himanshu Agarwal serves as the Director of the Structural Heart Program , Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiology at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at the prestigious Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Agarwal has held numerous leadership roles and contributed extensively to clinical research, serving as a national advisor to the Structural Heart Governing Council and Co-Director of the Structural Heart Clinical Council at CommonSpirit Health, the largest nonprofit health system in the U.S. He has participated in more than 60 clinical trials and is widely published.. He has led the development of advanced cardiovascular programs, including TAVR, TEER, LAAO, CTO, CHIP, and PFO Heart-Brain Clinics. His work has focused on improving clinical workflows, enhancing patient outcomes, driving program growth, and optimizing physician efficiency and financial sustainability.
