Biographical Sketch: Dr. Parasuram Melarcode Krishnamoorthy is the Associate Director of Structural Heart Program at the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He serves as the Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital and Associate Program Director of the Mount Sinai Brooklyn Cardiology Fellowship training program. He is an interventional cardiologist with specialized clinical focus in complex percutaneous coronary interventions and structural heart interventions, particularly transcatheter aortic (TAVR), mitral (TMVR, M-TEER), and tricuspid valve (TTVR, T-TEER) therapies and ASD/PFO closure. He is actively involved in clinical research and has published over 125 peer reviewed manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters. He has received several awards including the Dr. Madhukar Deshmukh Young Investigator award by the American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin, SCAI 30 in their 30s award, and CRT Young Leadership Award.
