Biographical Sketch: Amy J. Newell, B.S. R.T., Senior Vice President, Corazon. Amy has spent the past 30+ years in various roles in healthcare. Starting as a Radiologic Technologist, and quickly moved into a staffing and leadership capacity for the cardiac catheterization laboratory. In 2005 Amy began working at Corazon assisting hospitals and practices across the country with strategic/business planning, including market/financial analyses, and implementation support for the expansion of cardiovascular services across all settings of care. Currently, Amy leads the Accreditation Business Unit at Corazon ensuring cardiovascular programs across the country remain accountable in providing high-quality patient care through program evaluation, performance improvement initiatives and the delivery of best practices. This role allows Amy to support the company mission to “Improve patient care through partnerships, innovation, and expertise”.
