Biographical Sketch: Dr. Rushi Parikh is an interventional cardiologist and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Cardiology at UCLA Health. He completed his internal medicine training at UCSF, followed by fellowships in general and interventional cardiology at Stanford. Dr. Parikh is actively involved in clinical research and serves as the Co-Assistant Director of the UCLA Interventional Cardiology Research Program. His primary research focus is on emerging invasive imaging and physiologic modalities to assess cardiac allograft vasculopathy following heart transplantation and pulmonary hypertension; he is currently funded by multiple investigator-initiated industry-sponsored grants. Additionally, Dr. Parikh is the Clinical Director of the UCLA Biodesign Program, and he serves as an active advisor to several early-stage MedTech start-ups.
