Leah Raj, MD, is an interventional cardiologist and faculty member in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She studied mathematics at Bryn Mawr College and received her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at Emory and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at University of Southern California before returning to Emory to complete interventional cardiology and complex high-risk interventional procedures (CHIP) fellowship.
Dr. Raj’s interests span coronary artery disease, complex PCI, chronic total occlusions, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary embolism management. Outside of the lab, she is passionate about medical education and promoting women in intervention.
