Biographical Sketch: Gaurav J. Rao, MD, FSCAI, FACC, is the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Huntington Hospital, Northwell Health, and an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Rao is a dedicated interventionalist with a clinical focus on complex coronary interventions, coronary function testing, and the management of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Beyond his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education and clinical trials. A Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions, Dr. Rao is committed to advancing cardiovascular care through innovation and faculty leadership within the Northwell Health system.
