Biographical Sketch: Dr. Poonam Velagapudi is a Structural and Interventional Cardiologist who completed her interventional cardiology fellowship at Brown University and Structural fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Her clinical interests include high risk PCI, mechanical circulatory support in shock, radial and large bore access, percutaneous transcatheter valve procedures including TAVR, TMVR and mitra clip. She has special interest in education and using social media for dissemination of education.
She is a member of the SCAI Education committee, ACC Interventional Council, editorial boards for JSCAI and CRM-Case Reports journals, and Social Media editor for JACC-Case Reports journal.
