Biographical Sketch: Andrew M. Goldsweig, MD, MS, FACC, FSCAI, FSVM, RPVI is Director of Cardiovascular Clinical Research at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. His clinical practice includes LAAO, PFO, TEER, TAVR, PVL and PCI. Research interests include clinical trials and SHD procedure outcomes/utilization. He has been an investigator in CHAMPION-AF, ASAP TOO, CONFORM, OCCLUFLEX, TAVR UNLOAD, Optimize PRO, PARADIGM AVP3, SELUTION, and MINT trials. He SCAI Standards & Guidelines Committee Chair, former SCAI SHD Council Chair, member of the SCAI Advocacy Committee, and Associate Editor for JSCAI. He is an editorial board member for JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, American Heart Journal, and Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine. He also serves as AMA CPT Panel Advisor on behalf of SCAI. He is chair of the NCDR LAAO Registry Steering Committee and a member of the HeartPAC Executive Board as well as former Governor of the Nebraska ACC Chapter.
