Biographical Sketch: Holly Bauser, MD, PhD is a congenital interventional cardiologist and the chief of the Children’s Heart Institute at Children’s Memorial Hermann and McGovern Medical School Department of Pediatrics and executive co-director of CHI. She specializes in pulmonary artery disease and intervention. She also performs all catetherization types including PDA stenting, TPVR and hybrid interventions. In addition to interventional cardiology, Dr. Bauser holds NIH funding, running a basic science lab focused on 3D bioprinting vascular structures with particular attention to the causation and treatment of pulmonary vascular disease. As a member of CHD and Education councils of SCAI, she remains heavily involved with our society and also enjoys participating in ACC Women in Cardiology. As part of her clinical research, she remains involved with the Congenital Cardiac Research Consortium. In her free time, Dr. Bauser enjoys spending time with her four children and being involved in children rights' advocacy.
