Biographical Sketch: Deepak L. Bhatt, MD, MPH, MBA, MSCAI, is the Director of the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital and the Dr. Valentin Fuster Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine (with Tenure) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Bhatt has authored or co-authored over 2000 publications and has been listed by the Web of Science Group as a Highly Cited Researcher from 2014 to 2024. He is the Editor of Cardiovascular Intervention: A Companion to Braunwald’s Heart Disease and Opie's Cardiovascular Drugs: A Companion to Braunwald's Heart Disease. He is one of the co-Editors of Braunwald’s Heart Disease. He is the Editor of the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and as President of the AHA New York City chapter.
