Biographical Sketch: Ethan Korngold, M.D. the Chief Medical Officer and DVP of Medical Affairs for Abbott's vascular business unit. Prior to joining Abbott in June 2024, Ethan was the Medical Director and Division Chief of Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart at the Providence Heart and Vascular Institute in Portland, Oregon, and was a leader in transcatheter interventions, education, and innovation in the coronary, peripheral, and structural heart spaces. Ethan holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and received his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Vascular Medicine and Intervention at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
