Biographical Sketch: Gian-Manuel Jiménez-Rodríguez, MD, MSc, graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He completed his training in Cardiology, Intensive Cardiovascular Care, Interventional Cardiology, and Congenital Heart Diseases at the National Institute of Cardiology ‘Ignacio Chavez’, Mexico. After his interventional cardiology training in Mexico, he spent 1 year of structural heart fellowship at the University Medical Centre Utrecht, The Netherlands. He is currently working as an interventional cardiologist at the National Institute of Cardiology ‘Ignacio Chavez’, with special orientation on ventricular assist devices, cardiogenic shock and structural heart interventions.
