Biographical Sketch: Jay Giri, MD MPH is Chief of Interventional Cardiology, the Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratories, and the Director of the Penn Cardiovascular Outcomes, Quality & Evaluative Research Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include complex coronary artery intervention, renal denervation, venous thromboembolism, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement. He performs clinical outcomes and comparative effectiveness research related to emerging endovascular technologies and interventional pharmacotherapies, health services and policy research related to cardiovascular medicine, and leads several international multi-center randomized trials of novel endovascular therapies.
