That Pesky Coronary Calcium

Management of intracoronary calcium continues to be a challenge for interventional cardiologists. There has been a lot of advances in the tools and imaging options - but there still exists a knowlwedge gap as to the choice and utilization of these tools. This session hopes to decrease that knowledge gap. This session addresses intravascular imaging - how to identify severe intracoronary calcium and calcific nodules and choose the right device/tech. Another highlight of this session - is that we discuss how to manage calcium during a STEMI or during cardiogenic shock. We hope at the end of the session, you are able to adequately manage 'That Pesky Calcium'.
