Biographical Sketch: Armando Juarez, MD, Fellow SOCIME, is an interventional cardiologist. He graduated from the College of Medicine at St Nicholas of Hidalgo University in Michoacan Mexico (UMSNH) He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at Juarez Hospital of Mexico at National Autonomus University of Mexico (UNAM). Dr. Juarez serves as staff of the Interventional Cardiology at Specialties Hospital “La Raza” Medical Center at the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). He is an assistant professor of medicine at National Autonomus University of Mexico (UNAM) since 2012. His expertise on isquemic disease and structural heart disease includes transcatheter valve replacement, left atrial appendage, and atrial septal defect (ASD)/patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure. He has been an active member of SOCIME for over 10 years and has also served as a sinodal juror.
