Biographical Sketch: Neel Butala is the Medical Director of Structural Heart Disease and Intervention for the VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System and Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. His research focuses on use of rigorous statistical methods in large real-world datasets and clinical trial datasets to generate novel clinical insights in interventional cardiology. Neel holds an AB magna cum laude in Economics with High Honors from Harvard College, an MD cum laude from Yale School of Medicine, and an MBA from Yale School of Management, and he completed his Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Structural Heart Disease training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.
