Biographical Sketch: Jason H. Rogers, MD, FACC, FSCAI is Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Director of the Interventional and Structural Cardiology Fellowship Programs at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.
Dr. Rogers is an expert in the field of adult structural heart disease and serves as an editorial consultant for numerous cardiovascular journals. He has published in numerous textbooks and over 130 journal articles in the field of interventional cardiology, and has regularly served as invited faculty at national and international meetings. Dr. Rogers has also been involved in the development of novel transcatheter devices including transcatheter mitral annuloplasty, transcatheter mitral chordal replacement, and transcatheter left atrial appendage closure.
Dr. Rogers has been an investigator on numerous MitraClip trials including EVEREST II, REALISM, COAPT, EXPAND and EXPAND G4. He is the national co-principal investigator for the SUMMIT pivotal trial examining Tendyne transcatheter mitral valve replacement.
