Biographical Sketch: Dr. Parasuram Melarcode Krishnamoorthy is the Associate Director of Structural Heart Program and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is an interventional cardiologist with specialized clinical focus in percutaneous complex coronary and structural heart disease interventions, including transcatheter aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacement, and ASD/PFO closure. He also serves as the medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital Center and associate program director of the Mount Sinai Brooklyn Cardiology fellowship program. He joined Mount Sinai Hospital in 2018 for advanced training in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease interventions. He is actively involved in clinical research and teaching. He has co-authored over 100 peer reviewed manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters and served as invited faculty at numerous national and international conferences.
