Biographical Sketch: Michael J. Angtuaco, M.D., FSCAI, FAAP, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Angtuaco received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Emory University and his fellowship in pediatric cardiology in Arkansas. He has also completed an advanced fellowship in interventional pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He is board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
Dr. Angtuaco specializes in interventional pediatric cardiology and has served as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory since 2014. He is also co-director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in cooperation with his colleagues in Pediatric Pulmonology.
