Biographical Sketch: Saif Anwaruddin MD FACC FSCAI serves as the director of the Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease Program and the director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at St Vincent Hospital in Worcester MA. Prior to that he served as the co-director of the trans catheter valve program and founding co-director of the shock program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has clinical interests in the treatment of structural and valvular heart disease, advanced coronary intervention, pulmonary embolism, and cardiac critical care. He is widely published on topics ranging from cardiac biomarkers to valvular heart disease. He was selected as a prior SCAI ELM fellow and currently serves on the editorial board of JSCAI.
