Biographical Sketch: Nicola Maschietto MD, PhD is an Interventional Cardiologist at Boston Children's Hospital, Director of the Structural Heart Program, and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. His interests include transcatheter valve therapies, PDA stent for newborns with duct dependent pulmonary blood flow, transcatheter palliations in preterm infants, and transcatheter interventions in adult patients with congenital heart disease. He received his medical degree, PhD, pediatric residency, and pediatric cardiology fellowship from University of Padova in Italy. Dr. Maschietto completed an advanced fellowship in congenital interventional cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital.
