Dr. Elder developed fist comprehensive PERT team in Michigan in 2012. One of founding member of PERT Consortium
He is receipt of Crain magazine health care hero for his work in PE in 2017 and 2012 for his work in Peripheral Vascular Disease.
Dr. Elder was voted TOP DOC in Hour magazine by his peers for 12 consecutive years in row. Teacher of Year at WSU-SOM for over 10 years.
He is currently on Board of Directors for PERT Consortium.
