Biographical Sketch: Dr. Wiisanen is an interventional cardiologist at Centennial Heart at Parkridge is Chattanooga, TN where he is the director of the Cath lab and director of the structural heart service line. He is a fellowship trained structural interventionist and has been involved with developing structural heart centers in North Dakota and started the structural heart program at Erlanger Health in Chattanooga before joining HCA at Parkridge Hospital in 2021. He is primarily interested in structural heart interventions along with shock and pulmonary embolism treatment where he has been active in clinical trials and physician education. He is the father of 3 children and an avid marathon runner in his spare time.
