Biographical Sketch: Dean J. Kereiakes, M.D., FACC, FSCAI is President and Medical Director of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute and Professor of Clinical Medicine at Ohio State University. He was class valedictorian at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Postgraduate training was at the University of California, San Francisco and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kereiakes has been national/international Principle Investigator for 14 novel technologies. He has published over 1000 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters, served on the editorial boards of all major cardiovascular journals and was prior Section Editor for Circulation.
