Biographical Sketch: Dr Kreutzer is Professor of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh, and Cardiology Division Chief at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and Co- Director of the Heart Institute.  She has over 20 years of practice in congenital catheter intervention, and directed the Cardiac Catheterizaiton Laboratory for 15 years at UPMC Children’s. Main areas of academic interest include: 1- novel catheter/device technology, animal testing & clinical trials; 2- prenatal cardiac catheter intervention; 3- Single ventricle variants: transcatheter therapies; 4- Transcatheter management of peripheral pulmonary artery stenosis; 5- Cardiac catheterization Outcomes Research and Quality Improvement; 6- Transcatheter valve therapies. She is Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. She has lectured extensively nationally and internationally. 
She has authored close to 100 publications, and has a long history of commitment to teaching and mentorship. She has served in many academic committees (SCAI, AHA, NCDR®, CCISC, etc.).
