Biographical Sketch: Dr. Rogers is an interventional cardiologist and the Scientific Lead for Structural Heart Disease at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. His research focuses on the development of novel interventional techniques including transcatheter electrosurgery (transcaval, BASILICA, LAMPOON, ELASTACLIP), transcatheter mitral and tricuspid repair (cerclage, TRAIPTA), and interventional cardiovascular magnetic resonance (iCMR).
