Elias Victor Haddad, M.D., FSCAI

Biographical Sketch: Elias Haddad is an interventional cardiologist with Ascension Saint Thomas Health in Nashville, Tennessee where he serves as the Co-Director of the Advanced Coronary Therapeutics Program (ACT) and as Associate Program Director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center-Nashville. Dr. Haddad's clinical practice focuses on management of complex ischemic heart disease including chronic total occlusion PCI, intracoronary brachytherapy, and mechanical circulatory support for high-risk PCI and cardiogenic shock. His public policy interests are centered on intra-health system and inter-health system collaboration to improve patient care and outcomes. In this regard, he is currently chairman of the executive steering committee for the Tennessee Cardiovascular Healthcare Coalition. He has been a site Principal Investigator for several large national trials including ONYX ONE-CLEAR, Co- site PI for the ISCHEMIA trial, and is currently developing his site for PROTECT-4.
