Biographical Sketch: Dr. Giselle A. he structural field. Her main interest Baquero is an assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Hawaii, Queens Medical Center. She is an Interventional Structural Cardiologist. Prior to joining the paradisiac structural heart team at the University of Hawaii, she helped develop the structural program and cardiovascular fellowship at Southern Illinois University. She has chaired and co-directed many educational and community conferences within the structural field. Her main interest is minimizing approaches within our rapidly evolving structural field. She is a big advocate of percutaneous left atrial appendage closures guided by intracardiac echosonography and gender equity within the field.
