Biographical Sketch: Dr. Mehmet is the Professor of Medicine, Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at various Universities both in USA as well as in Europe. Dr. Mehmet's areas of expertise are complex structural heart interventions, novel device development and translational research, in particular application of OCT intravascular imaging in understanding of peripheral arterial disease and coronary artery disease and in their lesion specific treatment. He is also very much interested in training of next generation of interventional and structural heart interventionalist all around the World.
