Biographical Sketch:
Scott M. Lilly, MD, PhD, FACC is an interventional cardiologist, Associate Professor and the interventional director of the Structural Heart Program within the Division of Cardiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He earned his medical degree and doctor of philosophy from the University of Toledo, where he received both a National Research Service Award and the Graduate Dean's Award. He completed internal medicine and general cardiology training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. While there, he received advanced training in the invasive treatment of coronary and structural heart disease. Dr. Lilly’s primary interests are structural heart therapies for valvular heart disease and heart failure. He has numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on atherosclerosis and structural heart therapies. He is sits on several committees for the American College of Cardiology, and holds editorial roles for medical journals and online healthcare media.
