Biographical Sketch: Brett Carroll, MD is the Director, Section of Vascular Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He developed and leads a supervised exercise therapy program for peripheral artery disease. Additionally, he is the Director of Lymphatic Medicine and evaluates over 250 patients yearly with lymphedema as part of the Boston Lymphatic Center. Dr. Carroll also leads the BIDMC PE Response Team and is Medical Director of the Aortic Center. Research interests include management of acute pulmonary embolism, aortic disease, and lymphedema.
