Biographical Sketch:
Alison Witkin, MD is the Associate Program Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital pulmonary hypertension and thromboendarterctomy program. She completed her internal medicine training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and her pulmonary and critical care training at the Harvard combined pulmonary and critical care fellowship before joining the faculty at MGH in 2016. Her clinical and research interests focus on the care of patients with pulmonary hypertension with a specific focus on acute an chronic thromboembolic disease. She has been an active member of the PERT Consortium since its inception and previously served as the chair of the Communications Committee.
