Biographical Sketch: Dr. Maurice Alston is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist who is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology. Dr Alston specializes in minimally invasive approaches to diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases. Dr. Alston earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwannee, Georgia. Completed an internal medicine residency at Doctors Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio, where he pursued further training, completing a cardiovascular fellowship and serving as chief cardiovascular fellow. He then completed an interventional cardiovascular fellowship at The Ohio State University. Dr. Alston lives in Chattanooga Tennessee with his wife and four daughters. A Christian and family man who enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially football and basketball.
