Biographical Sketch: Dr. Pietzsch is President and CEO of Wing Tech Inc., an independent health economics research firm and laboratory based in Menlo Park, CA and in Europe. Wing Tech has more than 15 years experience in helping innovators identify, validate, and articulate the value proposition of new medical technologies, covering a broad range of clinical indications and technology types.
In addition to his work at Wing Tech, Dr. Pietzsch is an Adjunct Professor in Stanford University’s Department of Management Science Engineering and serves as Director, Health Economics and Value, of the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, a globally leading medical technology innovation program.
Dr. Pietzsch earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University, and also holds a dual engineering/economics degree from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
