Biographical Sketch: Zoltan G. Turi MD, MSCAI FACC is a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia University, trained at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and has been a pioneer in a variety of coronary, peripheral and structural heart disease interventions. He lectures extensively on structural heart interventions, including left atrial appendage occlusion, patent foramen ovale closure, and percutaneous heart valves. He has special expertise in cardiac hemodynamics and has been integrally involved in much of the evolving evidence base for vascular access and closure. He was one of the inaugural recipients of the title of Master of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions in 2014. He is currently Professor of Cardiology and Medicine at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, Director of Cardiovascular Research at the Hackensack University Medical Center Heart and Vascular Hospital, and Professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
