Biographical Sketch: Nathalie Antonios is completing her second year of residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Nathalie’s works closely with Loyola’s Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT), which is comprised of a diverse team of clinicians who aim to facilitate multidisciplinary decision-making to efficiently mobilize personalized treatment plans for patients with severe PE. As part of her research with PERT, Nathalie is evaluating the significant gender discrepancies of the six-minute walk test in patients with acute PE. Upon completion of residency, Nathalie plans to pursue a fellowship in cardiology.
