Biographical Sketch: Salman Arain, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Houston, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston (UTHealth). He currently serves as the Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program. His clinical interests include pharmacological and interventional treatment of coronary artery disease, complex coronary interventions (including chronic total occlusions), percutaneous ventricular assist devices, treatment of pulmonary embolism, and critical limb ischemia (including limb salvage).
