Biographical Sketch: Peter L. Duffy MD MMM FACC FSCAI CPE is an interventional cardiologist based in Pinehurst NC. He is a member of the Transitional Board of the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine working to secure that Board as the ABMS Board designated to credential cardiologists as being Board Certified. Currently he works in locum tenens positions in facilities throughout the country. He is a former Treasurer of SCAI, and former member of the SCAI Executive Committee and Board of Trustees. Dr. Duffy has served on the Interventional Council of the ACC and as a member of the NCDR Management Board. Additionally, he has worked as a member of the Ratings Panel for AUC for PCI and on the CMS Advisory Panel on Hospital Outpatient Payments.
His clinical research interests include acute coronary syndromes, STEMI care, and implementing the ‘real value’ formula into the everyday care of patients.
