Biographical Sketch: David G. Rizik, MD, MSCAI, FACC is the Chief Scientific Officer, Director of Structural and Coronary Interventions and the Cardiovascular Disease Interventional Fellowship Program Director at HonorHealth. He is founder and medical director of the HonorHealth Heart Group-Shea in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has been recognized as a Master Interventionalist by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention.
Dr. Rizik received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, MI. He is board certified in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. A distinguished researcher in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease, Dr. Rizik has published more than 100 manuscripts and book chapters. He is faculty for the internal medicine and family practice residency program for HonorHealth, as well as faculty for Midwestern University.
