Biographical Sketch: Dr Mavromatis is Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the Atlanta VA Healthcare System and Associate Professor at Emory University. He is an expert in diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease and aortic stenosis. He has been a co-investigator in numerous studies of percutaneous coronary intervention, including in COURAGE, FAME II, ISCHEMIA, and FAME III. He has helped develop TAVR through his participation in PARTNER studies.
