Biographical Sketch: Cynthia Wilson, RN serves as the Nurse Manager of the Cardiac Cath/EP/Structural Heart Lab at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto, California. She has 26 years of critical care experience with 21 years in Cardiology. She is a member of the Cardiovascular Field Advisory Committee for the Office of Nursing Service in Washington. D.C., a contributing committee member on the National Public Health, Infection: Don’t Pass It On (IDPIO), an ongoing public health campaign to prevent the transmission of infection, manages a national Cardiology SharePoint for the VA, and was recently appointed to the VA National Medical Imaging, Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, & Cath Lab Project Team, and the National Telemetry Task Force in Washington D.C.
