Biographical Sketch: Andrew M. Goldsweig, MD, MS, FACC, FSCAI, FSVM, RPVI is director of the cath lab and clinical research at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.  His clinical practice includes LAAO, PFO, TEER, TAVR, PVL and PCI.  Research interests include clinical trials and SHD procedure outcomes/utilization. He has been an investigator in the TAVR UNLOAD, Optimize PRO, CHAMPION-AF, ASAP TOO, TRANSCEND, PARADIGM AVP3, OCCLUFLEX, SELUTION, and MINT trials.  He is Co-Chair of the SCAI Publications Committee, former SCAI SHD Council Chair, member of the SCAI Advocacy Committee, and associate editor for JSCAI.  He is an editorial board member for Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, the American Heart Journal and Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine.  He also serves as an AMA CPT Panel Advisor on behalf of SCAI.  He chair-elect of the NCDR LAAO Registry Steering Committee, a member of the HeartPAC Executive Board as well as former Nebraska ACC Chapter governor.
