Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Rajiv Swamy, FSCAI FACC is an interventional cardiologist with speciality in treating patients with advanced peripheral arterial disease and complex coronary disease. Dr. Swamy is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Duke University in Durham, NC. Dr. Swamy is a high volume clinical operator that uses multiple techniques for the treatment of critical limb ischemia and limb salvage. Dr. Swamy also performs complex coronary interventions and teaches interventional fellows during his time at Duke University. Dr. Swamy obtained his medical degree from the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine and he completed his residency, chief residency, and cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Swamy completed his interventional cardiology and peripheral interventions fellowship at New York University-Langone Medical Center.
