Biographical Sketch:
Dr Dohad is part of the core Interventional cardiology faculty performing complex percutaneous coronary interventions and heads the Chronic Total Occlusion revascularization program (CTO). He established a large endovascular and aortic disease management program and a CLI limb salvage program. In 2011 he established the pulmonary embolism response team (PERT) along with Dr Victor Tapson and today its one of the largest PERT programs in the country
Dr Dohad leads a dedicated CHIP/CTO/Endovascular training program for fellows to further subspecialize in non-structural interventional cardiology. He has been awarded many accolades which include Outstanding Clinical Educator at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (2004-2005) and Excellence in Teaching Award at Cedars Sinai Medical Center (2007-2008 and 2014).
Dr Dohad has published extensively and serves currently on the steering committee of various national and international clinical trials in the field of drug eluting balloon, Pulmonary embolism thrombectomy and Acute myocardial infarction thrombectomy trials.
