Biographical Sketch: Dr. Mazen Abu-Fadel graduated from the American University of Beirut in 1999. After graduation, he finished his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Oklahoma. During his training, he won multiple awards. In 2007, Dr. Abu-Fadel joined the faculty at the University of Oklahoma, ultimately reaching the rank of Presidential Professor of Medicine. During his tenure at OU, he held the position of the Vice Chief of the cardiovascular section and served as the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional cardiology and served as the Program Director for the interventional fellowship. In August 2019 Dr. Abu-Fadel joined the Oklahoma Heart Hospital Physician Group, one of the largest groups of cardiology in the united states where he continues to take excellent care of his patients in one of the most highly rated and respected hospital in the nation.
