Biographical Sketch: Neal S. Kleiman, MD is the Chief of the Section of Interventional Cardiology and the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization laboratories at Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX.  He is a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and holds the Endowed Chair of the Loretta and Carl Davis Centennial Chair of Interventional Cardiology. He received his medical degree from Columbia University and completed post-doctoral training in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. His clinical expertise includes coronary angioplasty and stent placements, paravalvular leak repair, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (MitraClip). He is a member of numerous professional organizations including The American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology and Council on Thrombosis, and he is a fellow of The American College of Cardiology and Master of the Society for Coronary Angiography and Interventions.
