Biographical Sketch: Dr. Jones is the Senior Congenital Interventional Cardiologist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and University of Washington Medical Center. He directed the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Seattle Children’s Hospital from 1991 until 2021. He is Professor of Pediatrics and Adjunct Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Cardiology and is a Master in the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Jones lifelong focus has been to develop new and innovative approaches to the less invasive treatment of a variety of congenital cardiac conditions. He has worked closely with early-phase cardiovascular device developers and the U.S. FDA and participated in numerous clinical trials designed to address the specific needs of children and adults with congenital cardiac disease.
