Biographical Sketch:
Herbert D. Aronow, MD, MPH, FSCAI, FACC, FSVM, is Director of Interventional Cardiology at the Cardiovascular Institute and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Rhode Island and The Miriam Hospitals in Providence, RI. He is an Assistant Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Aronow completed undergraduate, medical school & public health studies and internal medicine residency at University of Michigan and cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is Secretary of the Society for Vascular Medicine, Trustee of SCAI and Past Chair of the American College of Cardiology Peripheral Vascular Disease Section. His research and clinical activity is focused on coronary and peripheral vascular intervention. Dr. Aronow has over 125 peer-reviewed original articles, editorials, chapters and reviews, and serves on the Editorial Boards of Circulation, Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, JACC: Interventions, Vascular Medicine and Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine.
